1. Who we are
Reelless is developed and provided by TA Shanto ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Reelless Android app or the Reelless Chrome extension (together, "the App") or using this website ("the Site"), you agree to these terms. 2. What Reelless is — and isn't
Reelless is a digital wellbeing tool that helps you limit short-form video on your own Android device and in Chrome on your computer. On Android, it works by recognizing certain screens and pressing back or covering them, as described in our Accessibility Service disclosure. In Chrome, the extension hides short-video sections of supported websites.
Reelless is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Meta, ByteDance, Snap, X Corp., Reddit, LinkedIn or Pinterest. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Reelless does not modify other apps, does not access your accounts in them, and does not block ads.
3. Your use of the App
- You may use the App only on devices and browsers you own or are authorized to manage.
- You're responsible for how you configure the App, including limits, schedules and Strict mode.
- You must not use the App to monitor another person without their knowledge and consent.
- You must not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
4. How well it works
Other apps change their designs frequently. We work hard to keep detection accurate and publish rule updates, but we can't guarantee that every short-video screen will be recognized at all times, particularly on platforms marked "Beta". Reelless is a tool to support your goals; it isn't a guarantee of any particular outcome.
5. Plans, purchases and refunds
- Some features are available only on paid plans ("Pro", and later "Family"). Prices are shown in the App and on Google Play before you buy.
- On Android, purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Payment details for the Chrome extension will be described here before paid features launch there. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy and applicable law.
- If we ever stop offering a lifetime plan, existing lifetime purchases remain valid for the life of the product.
6. The website and waitlist
Joining the waitlist doesn't create any obligation for you or for us. We'll use your email only as described in our privacy policy. Don't submit content through our forms that is unlawful, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share.
7. Intellectual property
The App, the Site, and their content, design and code are owned by us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
8. Disclaimers
The App and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Reelless is not a medical or mental-health service; if you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; when we do, we'll change the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App or on the Site. You can stop using Reelless at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access to the Site or services if they're misused.
